Oops Hydok plays too much Minecraft

Take the basic world of Minecraft and make it into an AU. Culture has begun to expand from small isolated villages to larger (though still young) cities. Technology is beginning to expand, based on redstone circuits. Since redstone is a nonrenewable resource, and dangerous to find, redstone mining is a highly lucrative (though high-risk) business. Much more worth it in the cost analysis than something as ridiculous as the habits of a certain pair of diamond and lapis lazuli miners.
